my birthday

i have really, really amazing friends and family. my birthday this year is / was / will be simple and sweet and full of love, just as i like it. it is going on and on, since my grandma audrey and carl took us out to sierra nevada for dinner for my b-day last night, my parents are having us over for my b-day for dinner tonight, and carla's throwing a little party after church for me with "the friends" on sunday. and next week, my grandpa and diana want to have us over to oma's for dinner for my b-day!

my mamaw sent me some money for my b-day, and i'm saving that and all of my b-day money for our trip to IKEA next weekend with my dad and lynds. can't WAIT! i also might be able to get a trundle bed for James that i have been looking at. i've been saving the money in James' account for it since we bought him the new TV. seth's thinking about whether it will be ok for us to spend the money on it right now....

anyway, i am thankful for the blessings that i have. i have such a sweet and rare group of friends and family. we are spoiled, spoiled, spoiled! with my baby shower coming up, and both James' and Seth's birthdays, and people continuing to contribute to our cord blood registry, i just feel totally spoiled. God provides our needs (and our wants!) in so many neat ways!
