Well, I'm thinking that this week is going to be our first somewhat "normal" week since Josiah was born... I'm feeling more stable - emotionally - the last day or two... and our schedule is slowly getting back to normal... I have Lora coming tomorrow to hang out with James in the afternoon while I run errands in Chico, and then my parents will take James in the evening so that Seth and I can have a "date night" - but we will keep the baby with us... haha.
On Wednesday James will go to physical therapy with Marilyn in the morning, then story time at Barnes and Noble, and then "playcare" for lunch and a nap - then Seth will pick him up after work. I will have the whole day with just the baby. This has been our schedule the last couple of Wednesdays, and will be our schedule every Wednesday until James starts preschool in the fall.
On Thursday I will be home with both my boys, and on Friday, James will go to PT again with Marilyn in the morning, but he will come right back home afterwards.
We have lots of food in the house because I finally did a big grocery shopping trip a couple of days ago, and then Steve Watson brought us black cod from Oregon - YUM! Plus, I made chili in the crock pot the other day, and we have leftovers. It's kind of nice to get back into cooking meals for my family, even though it was really nice having people bring meals in the beginning.
It's a beautiful day today - not rainy like it has been. Just cool and sunny. I think I will go on a walk around our block with the kids before James' nap.. then it's down for a nap for James, and Josiah and I will be heading to Chico for a doctor appointment this afternoon while my grandma comes over to watch James. Tonight Seth has a church softball game, and I'm planning on taking both his sons so they can root for their daddy!! haha.
Well, the baby beckons me.........
