Day 1 at Lucile Packard
hey, i'm at the hotel computer. don't have a ton of time, but wanted to give an update. yesterday went well. we took our time on the drive down, and went to trader joe's last night to stock up on food and goodies for the week. the hotel is ok. not as nice as i had pictured - but it's ok. lora has been a wonderful help, and such a servant. we all slept well last night. we haven't had to go to the hospital yet, but today we go to the hospital for james' esophogram. it's the less invasive and less "scary" of the 2 tests, so hopefully it will ease him in... pray for peace for james, strength for lora, and patience for me.

Love you & miss you. I've been praying for you guys throughout the day, and then at night before bed with Rynie. I hope you guys do okay the next few days. I've totally been wanting to come to the Mt. View office and help you in the evenings. I should have! Love you guys! :)
