Just found out what is going on with James' anatomy, and what showed on the MRI. The cyst that was drained and shunted in May this year is not back (it is still gone - the shunt is working) BUT the cyst that has always been near it - the one INSIDE his spinal cord - is now larger, and a cyst is forming higher up - I believe near the neck? Not exactly sure - I have not personally seen the MRI pictures yet, and we have STILL not spoken with Dr. C directly. We spoke with a neurologist who got the info on the MRI results from the radiologist. Dr. Ciricillo is finishing a surgery now, and will come up to speak with us after that. It has been a long morning,

If you are praying, here is how you can pray specifically:

1. For wisdom for Dr. Ciricillo as he makes a decision on how to address these very complicated problems. It is not a clear cut case. James' anatomy is unique and complicated. Also, for wisdom on our part as we, as his parents, help to make these decisions. We want it to be "divinely directed," as Seth put it.

2. For safety for James as he goes through surgery, and recovers from it (IF he does end up in surgery later today -- it is very, very likely)

3. For James' future, and that the One who holds his future would protect James and draw him toward himself, no matter what the future holds for him. OR that he would just come and get us!! Come, Lord Jesus, Come!!!! (how many times have I said that in the last 5 years!!!?????)
