It's a busy week... and a busy summer already!! Yesterday I took James to his GI doc. in Sacramento (with all three kids!!! Don't worry, we had Cora!) We made the decision to go ahead and get him a G-tube. Seth and I are both feeling better and better about this decision. Everything is falling into place, and we know that it is time for this step. It is going to mean a three-day stay in the hospital, though, unfortunately :(
Tomorrow Seth is taking James to San Fran for doctor appointments Thursday and Friday. An MRI, Spina Bifida clinic, pulmonology... among other things. I'm pretty sure James' UTI is back, so pray that they can get that taken care of while they are down there... and the the urologist comes up with a new plan for us, so that he doesn't get them so often...
Next weekend we are going to Almanor with Michelle and Liam and the Abken family!!!
Two weeks after that, Teryn and Caden are coming to visit from Oregon!
A couple of weeks after that, we are going to SF again - with just Caleb - and the Candlers and their new baby girl... Dave and Seth are running the SF Marathon (HALF-marathon).
And that's just June and July! Whew!!
Glad the weather is PERFECT, and Josiah has been a joy for me lately. This morning, we ate breakfast at Starbucks together, and I realized that he is a lovely date, as long as you keep stuffing him with food the entire time, and let him have a starbucks plastic cup of water with a straw, like a big boy! Then, I put Caleb and Joey in the Phil and Teds (of course :)) and we walked over to Farmer's Market and got a bunch of delicious summer produce, including cherries!!! Yum, Yum!!!
Now, Joey's sleeping and I'm trying to get James and Seth all packed for their trip.
Better go!

how come james has to stay so long in the hospital for the g-tube? Is he getting the nissen at the same time? Lexi was only in the hospital for one night and they said some kids go home the same day!
