It's Spring Cleaning time, so let's talk about organization over the next several Tuesdays, shall we??
Does your dvd cabinet look like this? or worse?
It's very easy, especially with kids, for the movie cabinet to get out of control. You organize it one day, and by later that day, it's out of control once again. My kids get movies all the time as gifts for birthdays and such. Especially James, because watching movies is one thing that everyone knows he can enjoy.
One day, I just got fed up. DVDs were never in the right cases... or they were sitting on the shelf (or on the floor!!) with no case, getting scratched and ruined. I decided to go purchase a DVD binder, and THROW AWAY - yes, I said toss out - all of the cases. Why do you need those things, anyway?
Now, James can bring ALL of his movies easily with him in the van, and to Playcare, and to grandma's house, and wherever he goes!!
I sure hope this little tip helps YOU simplify and organize your life.

I made that switch awhile back. I got rid of all the dvd cases and cd cases. Makes a huge difference.
