So James ended up with a fever in the range of 100 to 103 off and on since last night. I took him to Dr. Stanley this morning, and turns out he has a sinus infection. My mom took the other kids, and James and I spent most of the day at the doctor and two pharmacies (long story).

Despite everything, somehow the house is starting to look like there might be a party here tomorrow night! I have one tired husband!! But the couches are on the back patio, with an outdoor living area set up, complete with string lights, a fire-pit, and propane heater. It is beautiful, and the weather is perfect.

The table is all set up in the living room, and everything is Christmassy and beautiful.

For a while there, I was completely convinced that this party was not going to happen, but now I'm starting to think it might! HA!

It's hard to be excited about it while my baby is still so sick, though... I am still on edge.. So I am praying that he feels much much better in the morning... and we can all have a relaxing and joyous day.

Tomorrow I will be cooking 19 Cornish hens.
