faith

well, i'm stuck at home with no car because it's in the shop getting a new transmission, which will end up costing like $2,000 - plus, we just found out we owe like $2,000 MORE in taxes this year, AND we just bought a house. wow. talk about needing to have faith in our provider! Seth's been working 10 hour days at work, and then 4 or 5 more hours after work over at the new house, equaling 14+ hour days for him, 6 and sometimes 7 days a week!!!

When we first got the house, I had James with a babysitter almost everyday for at least 5 or so hours a day so I could be over there working, or down at Lowes or Costco getting the materials and things for the new construction. I'm trying to see this week with no car as a blessing - a time to spend some quality time with James again and to start organizing and packing around here. It's amazing how much STUFF a family of 3 can accumulate in just 8 months or so, after having a garage for the first time!

My goal for the new place is SIMPLICITY. no clutter. no extra junk we don't need. I'm glad we will have an extra bedroom for our office type stuff now. it will hopefully cut down on the paper type clutter around the rest of the house!

Man, i feel so bad for my hubby - he works SO HARD, and has such perseverence with the house and the long long long days, and everything. and then the stress of the car and taxes and other financial stresses! Lord, make me a wise and faithful helpmate!
