Christmas #2

Seth and I had our Christmas date tonight that is our tradition every year. We go to the Olive Garden and then to Starbucks afterward to have decaf peppermint mochas and exchange our gifts - which is always a special ornament for the Christmas tree that represents the past year in some special way...

Seth gave me a tool box ornament to represent all of the work he put into our first house this year, and to thank me for (trying to be) i mean - being - so patient with him during that time, and to say that God really did have grace on us because it could have been a much bigger and more stressful project than it was, and we could have gotten it a lot more arguments, but we did pretty good (only by His grace on us)...

I had the same theme in mind, because I gave him a Hallmark keepsake ornament that is a key with a door on it that spins around and around, and it says "our first home 2008" on it.

This year really did fly by because of the long hours we put in thinking about purchasing a house, running the numbers over and over and over and over and over, figuring out financing, buying it, going to Lowes an exausting amount of times, and then the ENDLESS hours that Seth put into it making it a home....our home.

I love our house, and I LOVE MY HUBBY.
