IKEA

Went to IKEA with dad and lynds on saturday... or should i say that lynds and i dragged my dad there... hahaha. actually i think he had more fun than he thought he would... i had fun, and it was relaxing... for my mind.. only having to think about myself all day, and not what James might need...but my body was tired at the end of the day... shopping for 5 hours, plus 3 hours in the car will wear out even a non-pregnant woman... so, i think i did pretty good :)

James stayed home with daddy. they didn't have such a great day. james acted sick, and seth was worried about him... but that's a different story...

I got a rug for James' room - not my dream rug, but it will do. it's navy blue, and it just makes the room a little more inviting.. got some shelves, too. i'm pretty excited about those.. haven't hung them yet.. i've got to get my dad over here on a day when him and seth can do it together (i guess they're pretty involved...)

what else?? bought 4 new IKEA scrubbers with the suction-cup thingies... if you're an IKEA fan, you know what i mean.. we had a little scare because they weren't in the exact spot that they are ususally in... and then Lyndsey remembered that she noticed that they were NOT in the catalog this year... so we were both convinced that they discontinued them or something (God FORBID!) but then i saw them!

"I found them" i exclaimed with glee as i ran across the warehouse.... "you found what?" lyndsey thought as she followed me.. and there they were - a huge bin of awesome scrubbers with suction-cup thingies.

and that made our day :)

yes, the little things in life DO amuse us :-)

had a dr. apt. today. Josiah was covering his face with his hands, so the doc couldn't get me a picture like he wanted to.. everything looks good. now he's just getting fatter, and we're just waiting for him to arrive. i got our baby swing back from the church nursery. it's still in great shape. it's residing in our living room right now because i like that reminder that Josiah will be here before we know it :)

gonna go watch 24 now.
