preschool

ok, so i requested an inter-district transfer for James so that he can go to school in Chico where he has physical and occupational therapy, and where he would be with non-disabled and disabled kids in one mixed class all day long...

We won't know whether he will be accepted to go to school in Chico until right before school starts in August... so it looks like he won't be starting preschool until then, unless I want him to start up here in Paradise (actually in Magalia at Cedarwood)... which Seth and I have decided that it is not the best scenario for him for several reasons...

So if I want him to have any kind of preschool program throughout the summer, it looks like I am going to have to design something for him... and I am going to have a newborn any time now, so I'm going to have to get it together quick, and hire some people to help me!

So far I know that I would like him to continue KinderMusik, and I would like him to attend a story time at either one of the libraries or at Barnes and Noble, to get some more interaction with other kids, and so that he learns to pay attention to something for more than 2 seconds at a time!!

I have some ideas and plans brewing.... I'll keep you updated as things progress...
