next week i am taking james down to lucile packard children's hospital at stanford in the bay area. he is going to have 2 tests to investigate the exact cause of his vomiting and they will see if there is anything they can do to help him stop. pray for us, because if he could get his vomiting under control, it would make SUCH a huge difference in our lives! i can't even imagine the freedom we would have!
i am also still waiting to hear from chico unified school dist. whether james will be accepted to go to preschool down there. it's a long shot because they don't usually get approved, but i am still hoping!
this weekend seth's mom is going to be here and she's gonna watch the kids while he and i celebrate our 5th anniversary by having a long afternoon and evening out. seth "inherited" a canoe from an older couple from our church, when the husband died and the wife decided that she didn't need it anymore and thought seth might enjoy it! so, i'm pretty sure that we're going to get take out and have a nice romantic date out on the lake in the canoe! i can't wait! he surprised me with flowers today and said he wanted to give them to me early so that i would have time to enjoy them before i had to go out of town next week. I LOOOOVE FLOWERS!
Josiah got better on the crankiness thing for a long while, but today he was back to cranky-pants mode. james took a good long nap today, but that meant that he also wanted to stay up way past his bedtime, and seth and i were both tired before james was! i'm not usually ready to go to bed when i feel "done" with the day... i just wanted to "get off work" an hour or so earlier than i usually do!!
james was in the stander all morning, and then worked with both mommy and daddy on walking outside on the grass with his walker. it was a succesful first day of implementing new goals.
well, josiah is currently sucking on his fingers furiously, so i better go feed him before he gets outright mad!
