that's what we did today! it was a nice, sunny, spring day, and we met uncle lance at the fountain for a peanut butter sandwich and animal cracker picnic, and OF COURSE, a photo shoot!

friends with common ground
We had some special visitors last week - a friend of mine and her two children, that we don't get to see often enough! Rebecca, and her kids, Madison & Jeremiah (who has spina bifida like James) spent the whole day with us. I took some family photos of them, the kids played, the mommies chatted and encouraged one another, James and Jeremiah took turns using James' walker... it was a blessed time. Here are some snapshots of James and Jeremiah playing together -

ok, now i need to plan a party as an excuse to use these new-to-me-but-used teacups i just found at a thrift store. FIVE BUCKS for the WHOLE SET (service for 7)! sooo cute!

OMG this ice cream is SOOOO yummy! It is DAIRY FREE / made with coconut milk
& seriously, soooo much better than soy ice cream! woah. so far i've tried the dark chocolate and the cherry amaretto flavors. they are both sooooo good. i seriously like them better than real ice cream. i am not kidding! James loves them, too.
