Just found out they have free WiFi at the hospital now, so I'm back online during surgeries, etc... much easier!
Here is an update on James - Saturday May 8th @ 9:30am -
He is doing good. he had a good night. he's still pretty sleepy and sore. they are just now switching him from morophine to tylenol with codeine this morning. he's been drinking apple juice, but hasn't eaten too much -- like 3 bites of a graham cracker.. so he needs to be eating more, too, before we can go home... i'm thinking now that it might be tomorrow :(
i'm at the ronald mcdonald now taking a shower, etc. it's 9:30am. i just got here.. i'm doing laundry, pumping, etc... seth slept at ronald mcdonald last night while i "slept" at the hospital with james. seth is at the hospital now with him so i can shower, grab breakfast, etc.
my mom has joey at home. yes. that was definitely the best call!
we had a great night nurse last night. soooo thankful for that! his name was danny, a daddy to 2 boys, a 3 1/2 year old and an 11 month old. sound familiar? he showed james pics of his kids. the 3 1/2 year old's name is Lance :) this morning, it's a nurse named nicole that we've had before, and she remembers us.. oh man... she is a great nurse, too. praise God.
