a tiny light in the darkenss

I'm pregnant. Just found out on Monday. Seth and I are just as shocked as everyone else! We were planning on having another baby, just not this soon!

But what better way to give a mother a joy deep in her heart, just when she needed it most, than to give her a little life inside of her?

Thank you, Jesus!

We think we have our hand in this life, controlling this and that. But we SO don't! The Lord does what He sees is best. He sends the rain. And then the same God sends the light.

I have had great intentions to post a blog update lately, but I've been going to bed at 8 or 9pm when my family goes to bed, and then I'm busy from the minute I wake up in the morning until I crash again the next night.

Yesterday Seth brought me flowers, and then let me take a nap while he cleaned the house. Then our AMAZING friends brought over all the food for delicious tacos, and did ALL the work to serve us a wonderful meal, and give us some sweet company.

I am truly blessed and thoroughly spoiled!

I took James to school yesterday, and hung out there with him all day to make sure he did ok. He did better than anyone thought, but he did fall asleep in the van on the way home. I think it totally took it out of him. He is doing about the same - maybe a little bit better. His right arm is still the most affected. He did climb out of his bed one night since we got home, though, and somehow moved himself into the hallway to try and come and get mommy and daddy. We were totally shocked. He must have been determined, because he hasn't done anything like that since.

We will try school again tomorrow, and see how it goes. I have a new IEP for him tomorrow morning, to update everyone at school about his new obstacles, and ask for more support and equipment for him.

I am definitely going to need to work on getting the wheel chair lift for the van now, more than ever! I'm thinkin' it might not be such a great thing for a pregnant lady to be lifting heavy children and wheel chairs!

The plot thickens!

Congratulations!

And I definitely be praying for the IEP meeting to go well and you get just what you need.
