Randomness

Thanks for praying for James and our family over the last few days. The cath thing turned out to be nothing. Everything is back to normal, and I have been able to cath easily, and there is lots of output. YAY!!

Today Seth set up the new swing-set in the back yard. He sectioned off an area in the corner of the yard, put down some playground bark, and set up the play-set. It has a teeter-totter, a slide, two swings, and a swinging bar. Josiah is in kid heaven! So fun!!

James woke up from his nap today and wanted to head outside to watch his brother play in our new "park" -- he was his brother's biggest cheer-leader when Josiah went down the slide, and Josiah thought he was sooooo cool.

Sweeties!!

Well, I now have the sickness that Joey has. It's only a matter of time before Seth and James get it, too.... No church AGAIN tomorrow :-*( We miss our church fam. Can't wait to be back to a normal schedule with James in school, and bible study at our house on Sundays, and all of that good stuff....

Maybe soon....

Went to lunch with my mom today. That was nice. We actually snuck a way, and it wasn't even that hard! We need to do it more often..

Talked to my bestie on the phone for a bit this evening. That was really nice, too. Busy families. Busy, busy, busy... We both had to lock ourselves in a room away from our kids in order to make it happen, and make our babies stand at the door and cry for us... hey, we had no choice!!

It was great hanging out with Carla and Lynds last night, talkin' about the coroner's report on Carrisa, and about heaven.. And of course eating pizza, and watching movies, and playin' with James. Sweet times!

OH! I've been meaning to mention this on the blog --- James' MRSA is no longer contagious, and it never was the community-acquired kind that you have for like months, and you have to do bleach baths and all that stuff.. It was the kind that about a third of the population already have on their skin, and don't even know it. Not that big a deal, EXCEPT for where it was located, over his shunt. That is the only reason we had to be in the hospital -- because of the risk to his shunt and spinal fluid -- NOT because he had a MRSA wound. Make sense? So don't be scared to come over here, or be around James or anything like that... He is going to return to school and daycare this Wednesday, and the docs cleared him for being around other kids, etc.

K, enough randomness for tonight.
