home

Yes, a quiet bed that is your own, without lights and beeps and prods and pokes...and a warm shower that is your own, that no one is waiting for, is very, very nice! Actually, I took a BATH last night, with jets and everything - yes, we have a spa-tub in our master bathroom that has been broken for over a year, and Seth fixed it right before we left for the hospital, so now that we're home, I get to enjoy it!!

James is doing really well, except that it has been a little bit difficult to cath him last night and this morning. I can't fully explain it, but I think it might go away on its own after we let his body get back to normal... but when I told Seth about it, he got all hyper and started calling doctors and talking about going back down to SF and all kinds of things..... It all made me extremely tired. And stressed. Please pray that this doesn't turn into anything big. I can't TAKE it!!!!!!

Josiah and I went on a walk in our neighborhood this afternoon, and it was the best thing I've done in a long time! His speech has improved a lot in the last two weeks, and I taught him what a puddle was, so he kept saying, "puddle," "puddle," and pointing to every single one.

Poor baby is sick :( He had diarrhea and vomited at my mom's last night, and then had another huge diarrhea this morning, and has been extremely cranky and clingy to me all day. He took a THREE hour nap today (loooong nap!!) -- Now he is with daddy in Chico, picking up a new (to us) / used play-set from one of Aunt Lyndsey's co-workers. We're getting it for free, which is a huge blessing.

We had to do $350 worth of work on our new van at les schwab today :( so that sucked. It's also burning oil, so I hope that doesn't mean the engine is bad or whatever... Don't know much about that crap.

ANYWAY --- James has been using his arms a lot more. Today he and I were taking turns giving him bites of his noodles. He did GREAT. He has been playing with a balloon that he got while we were in the hospital, and using both arms to play with it. It is very encouraging.

He feels good. Really good.

I am so, soo glad for that.
