Ten surgeries before his fifth birthday.
Woah.
James had surgery at about 8:30am this morning, and is already recovering SO, SO well! He has not had a lot of pain, and he has been eating and drinking and peeing and talking and playing and singing. He is my brave, amazing, strong, and long-suffering little LOVE!
We MIGHT be discharged tomorrow. I really think that it is likely.
We shall see...
So, you do get a little crazy when you've been doing hospital-life for two weeks, so today I made up this little tune, using the Oompa-Loompa tune from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Dr. Gupta's name (James' neuro-surgeon). Just a little humor about some of my fears...
