Dr. Park said that I am "the same" as Thursday. About 3cm. dilated. He also said that I am about 60% effaced, which I'm not sure whether that means I have progressed or not, because he didn't give me any percentages last week to compare against.
My blood pressure was good / borderline -- but a lot better than last week. He said that he can tell from my blood pressure today that I have been listening to him and resting. I told him that yes, I was, but that I had to "farm out" my kids in order to do it!! He said that, even so, I should continue bed-rest for now.
The WORST thing about the appointment today was that Dr. Park told me that he is going to be out of town starting tomorrow, and will be gone until next Monday. DANG IT!! Way to keep my blood pressure down, dude! I was planning on having a baby this week!
I am praying that I will either have him today, while Dr. Park is still here... or that if I have him while he's away, that Dr. Ainsworth or Dr. Dovre will be the on-call docs. At least I know OF them, and that they can deliver babies -- no horror stories associated with them... except for Dr. Dovre's mouth, which I'm pretty sure we can just ignore.
Dr. Park said that he thinks that I am going to have the baby "soon," but that if I am still pregnant on Friday, he wants me to go to the hospital to get monitored again, and that he will see me next Monday in his office for a regular appointment, if I haven't had him by then.
Today is the birthday of one of my childhood best friends, Allison. It's also pastor Tom's birthday. Seems like a GREAT day to have a baby, don't cha think?

Alright, the trampoline idea is a bad one... but the two... get on it girl!!! We're keeping an eye out for a NEW BABY post! Love ya.
