Busy Week!

It has been busy busy busy around here (in a good way). Party central, I tell you!! Saturday was the cookies and milk party for Norah and my Joey. Sunday I went to the cemetery for a balloon releasing ceremony to remember and celebrate my friend Carrisa who passed away five months ago. Monday was the day I braved the trip to the tire shop with two of my three. Tuesday I drove to Rocklin to get the Phil and Ted's. Yesterday there was a HUGE rain-with-thunder-and-lightening storm all day, with tornado warnings (yes, in Paradise!! what the heck!?) -- And this afternoon I made 20 Mickey Mouse cupcakes, and this evening we finally had James' Mickey Mouse birthday party.

WOW. 

Can't wait to get the pics of those cupcakes uploaded. Stinkin' cute!

Time for a party break now around here though!!

Laurie (Carrisa's mom) looking up at the balloons. The balloon ceremony was not only for Carrisa, but also for Carrisa's brother, Darren, who passed away 14 years ago. Their mother Laurie has had to be one strong lady! Her faith never waivers though. She proclaims the Lord's faithfulness and goodness, even in the midst of such loss and tragedy.
