On Friday, Seth got to enjoy his day off by going frisbee golfing with Ryan and some friends. Then I went to girl's night. Gotta give each other little breaks when we get the chance!!!
On Saturday we went to my cousin Luke's wedding at Merlo Park in Stirling City. It was SO beautiful, and such a great wedding! Weddings are so fun! Seth and I always try to remember our own wedding, and sort of "renew our vows" again when we go to weddings. It was sweet this time, because our seven year anniversary is coming up in just one week!! I'm so happy for Luke and Alisha, and I hope our family can remember to always pray for them and lift their marriage up to the Lord, from this day on. I want to take a date night up to Merlo Park, too, soon, now that I have been reminded of how beautiful it is up there, and much cooler than Paradise and Chico, too! A picnic and a stroll in the park would be SO nice!
Yesterday I went to my grandpa's 70th birthday party. I remember his 50th!!! And now my parents are turning 50 this year!! Time flies!!
Today I took James to get his wheel chair fixed, and to make sure everything fits him properly for Kindergarten (like his stander, his AFOs, etc.). Then he went to playcare in Magalia, and Josiah and I played playdough and practiced his colors, and then read books and played in the water on the back patio for a good portion of the afternoon. Then, we (Caleb, Joey, and I) walked over to my mom's and hung out with the fam one last time before they leave to go back home tomorrow (Mamaw and Uncle Pat are visiting from out of town for Luke's wedding). After that, Caleb and I went to the church softball game. We won.
