I told James that Aunt Lyndsey wanted to crash our date the other night, and he said, "why does she want to break something?" hahah (crash)

While trying to encourage him to eat a few bites of something - ANYTHING - I said, "James, I'd like for you to eat a few bites of this oatmeal." (baby food oatmeal).. He said,

"Awww, how many bites do i have to take?"
Mommy: "how about five, since you're five years old?"
James (negotiating): "how about three?"
Mommy (in an attempt to trick him): "ok, you can take three, if you take three more right after that."
James (thinks for a minute): "mommy, that's six!"
Mommy: "woah, who taught you how to add?!!!"
James: "Mickey Mouse!"

S-M-A-R-T-Y  pants!!!

Tonight I went to girl's night in Chico, and daddy and the boys called my cell and left me THE sweetest message, letting me know how much they love me!!!!!! Wish there was a way I could post their cute little voices on the blog... You would DIE.

I had James' IEP meeting today. It went really well, and everything is all set for Kindergarten!!!

My mom got James a little book called "The Night Before Kindergarten"  ~  He is ALL excited about it, and was showing it off to Uncle Paul this evening, with the hugest, cutest, a-little-bit-embarrassed smile on his sweet little face! I can't wait to read it with him!!!
