The supplies finally arrived last night after 11pm. I successfully set up a feeding for him, and he got the whole thing with no problems at home last night. He did throw up a little in the morning, but he does that pretty much every morning anyway, so that was not too big of a deal. He is now getting his second feeding at home. It's easy!
This morning my mom came over to drop Josiah off, and the first thing James said to her was, "Hi grandma. Want to see my g-tube?"
Cutie!!!!!!!
Then, he went to her house for date night tonight, and when he was offered his usual dinner - garlic bread and chocolate pudding (I know, it's weird.. but that is what he likes!) - he said, "Nah, my g-tube is not too into garlic bread right now"
hahahahahhahahahah!!!!
He hasn't been eating regular food very much at all. Barely a bite here and there of baby food or a cracker sometimes, but mostly just his Bright Beginnings formula by mouth during the day, and now the EleCare formula through the g-tube at night.
I think this is going to be extremely positive for James, having the g-tube. He is going to F-I-N-A-L-L-Y get the nourishment and weight he needs, and hopefully just get stronger and stronger.
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that boy! :)
