Who takes care of this Momma?
MY momma!!
I am having a lovely day.
We are all getting better and better every day now, and I am so relieved!
I has been a loooooooooooooooooooooooong week!!!!
My mom gave me a break yesterday afternoon - she came over here and watched all three hooligans while I took a little time-out from the craziness!!! Then today she took James to playcare for me, which was a HUGE help, because if I had had to pack everyone up and take him down, it pretty much would have ruined the entire day.... because Josiah would fall asleep in the van... and then he wouldn't take a regular nap... and then I'd come home with a cranky crazy kid, a crying baby, a messy house (still), and well... you get the picture....
Thank GOD for my momma... who never worries about how she's probably going to end up with all of the sickness too, in just a few short days.... who never seems to have anything going on that is more important than giving me a little relief...
And this way I was able to light some candles, turn on some soft music, and actually get some cleaning done around here, which was MUCH needed after being "down" for a week!! I was glad to be able to disinfect everything, because I've been feeling like we have been living in an illness infested yucky house lately!! It's amazing how NOT being sick can bring back a person's energy!!
Both Josiah and Caleb are sleeping peacefully, at least for the moment... I love this time of day! It is short... but awesome!!
I decided to steal a quick minute to update the blog, between mopping floors, disinfecting bathrooms and floors, putting away toys, and chipping away at the pile of laundry (it's never ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)........... and..... and..... and...........
And woah, it is COLD outside!!!!! Is there snow in our near future?? We shall see!
Seth is going to the woods tonight with my dad for a bonfire. They are crazy. I would like to be in my house with the heater cranked, thank-you-very-much!! Tomorrow they might go out again on another "man" adventure. They're trying to talk Dustin into skipping out on dork-fest, and joining them for the bonfire tonight... HA!
Cindy is coming to stay the night with us, and Sunday is back to bible study at the Condit home. The Lord's grace is sufficient, because if the house was still falling apart around me when this busy weekend hit, I would be a big huge ball of stress.
Thankfully, too, tonight is girl's night at my house, and Carla's bringing stuff for a baked potato bar, so I don't have to think about dinner... plus, I get to hang with some of my favorite ladies, and hold my sweet niece into the wee hours of the night.... or at least until about eleven or mid-night.... while we watch DH. YES!!
Normalcy -- even if it is OUR normalcy (which isn't normal in the least) --- sure feels good!
