2011 Year in Review - Part 3 - Caleb

I always say that if Caleb had been a girl, the word JOY would have had to be part of his (her?) name. Haha! He is SUCH a little joy! He has been a joy from the very beginning, from that very first (shocking!) day when I realized that I was pregnant at what seemed like the most trying and complicated timing.

But The Lord knew that we needed a whole lot of JOY in our lives, and that is exactly what He gave us!

He smiles a lot. He shows off those amazing dimples. His eyes are GLUED to me, and he watches me like a hawk. He doesn't like it AT ALL when Momma leaves the room. He doesn't want to be alone. Doesn't want to miss out on anything :)

He's a calm one. Uncomplicated. Sweet. Happy. Content.

In just the last week or so he has learned to scoot along (almost crawl), and he can get from one room to the next if he's really determined! He has also discovered his screaming voice recently, and loves to show it off to us whenever he runs out of graham crackers, or gets frustrated for one reason or another. And then when you look at him, he just smiles a huge old dimple-ridden smile, and you just die a million deaths.

This is his first Christmas, and he's a sweet little Christmas bundle of JOY! Thank you, Jesus, for my joy boy!

To be continued......
