a not-so-blustery day

Today was quite a bit better. Seth had work again. It looks like he at least has work the rest of this week. The sun was shining. James had KinderMusik this morning, which he enjoyed. I got to have lunch with one of my best friends, Erika :) and her little cutie, Jordan (James' girlfriend). And then Seth and I had our date night tonight, and although we exhausted the subject of finances and goals and re-financing and all of that, it was a positive conversation... less fearful than yesterday. More hope in his voice....

We decided that we are going to go ahead and go to Eureka this weekend. I am really glad, because I'm dying to hold Lucy, and I miss Ashley..... and Adam, i guess :) I think it is going to be a much needed break from everyday life, and a nice relaxing time for both of us. It will be good for James to be around a baby, since we are going to have one in our own house very soon!

I looked into subbing today - at least for Chico Unified. They pay less than I thought they did, and I would have to pay $35 to get fingerprinted again, and attend a 2 hour safety class, because it's been so long since I've subbed for them... I'm trying to decide if it's worth it... tomorrow i will look into Paradise Unified and maybe Oroville. I'm also praying that some other opportunities would come up, like maybe I could book a last minute wedding, or my photography that is for sale at the chocolate shop would sell soon.

I think Josiah might have turned, because I felt kicks way up at the top of my belly today, and until now, they have all been down low. He was active today, which also made my day :) I'm getting really excited about his birth, and just having another little person in our fam.

Here are those paintings I promised.... James is very proud of them... and now wants to paint every day... what have I started???
