Our Weekend

We had a really nice labor day weekend, filled with tons of love. On Saturday Sue came over from Clearlake to stay with us for a few nights and help out. She was a HUGE help, entertaining the kids and doing housework for me. She and Seth let me go down to Chico on Saturday afternoon to run some errands, and I didn't really enjoy myself too much because I felt pretty sick, but it was a nice thought!! haha. Then Sue ordered Chinese take-out for us for dinner that night, and we started watching a movie that she brought over, but when I took James to bed, somehow I ended up never coming back from that!! haha. Fell asleep in his bed...

Then on Sunday, James did really well at church, and Garrison was the helper in his class again, which James was really happy about. Josiah did great in the nursery, too. Aunt Lyndsey was the helper in the nursery, so I'm sure that helped. When Uncle Lance went to get James after church and bring him to me in the big sanctuary, he came wheeling in with a HUGE smile on his face. I was so happy to see that.

After church we had my parents and lance, and lyndsey and ryan, and carrisa and nory over for games and a BBQ (and Sue was still here) -- it was a nice, small group, and James was SO cute putting flowers and kisses in a gift bag for grandma for her birthday! Ryan brought over a new game that he had gotten for his birthday, and it was really fun. I'd like to play it again soon so that I don't forget everything!

This morning, Seth went to work (yes, on labor day) - and Sue helped me get the kids up and ready for the day. She just left to head back to Clearlake about a half hour ago. Now I'm off to feed James his lunch (joy), and then Ashley and Lucy are coming to visit for a little bit before they head home to Susanville - I'm excited, because I haven't visited with Ashley in MONTHS!!!
